One of those deceptively simple games you can't stop playing.

Download: <s>Star Killer</s> (ZIP 230 KB) WARNING! ADDICTIVE

Screenshot (click for fullsize):

It really sticks with you. You'll play it in your sleep.

You're the red guy, just an amazingly simple red rectangle with a number (your health) in it. Your enemy is the blue box. He shoots one homing exclamation point at a time at you. The white star of David is good. It heals you. It is also invincible.

Challange: Hard enough to be fun, fun enough to keep you playing.

Graphics: Very minimalistic. Just enough information you need to play the game, with bright colors & special effects for fun.

Music & Sound: As chilling & suspensful as Fritz Lang's M or John Cage's 4'33", the realistic sounds of space make for a totally immersive atmosphere, raising your suspension of disbelief past its breaking point, truly putting you IN the game.

Replay: This is where the game stands out the most. This is one of those rare kind of games you can't help but play over & over. There is no delay between replay. It's still fun every time.

Are you sitting down? Good. You may notice starting sometime Saturday evening, until sometime Monday morning that www.somesmart.com will fail to load. DO NOT WORRY, NEITHER THE INTERNET NOR YOUR COMPUTER ARE BROKEN. This is simply a result of the move from my current residence, to the new residence I mentioned below.

As a bonus mission while the website is down, save the picture of our new house and see if you can find the secret joke hidden within. Good luck internet, I'm counting on you.
